The Meaning of Eilean A Cheó means Island of the mist the ancient Gaelic name for the Isle of Skye part of which can be seen from the front of the house as you look to your right the peak of Sgurr na Coinich on the southern tip of the Island is visible we are Conveniently situated at the meeting point of Loch Duich, Loch Alsh and Loch Long only a short walking distance from that most famous and most photographed of all Scottish Castles – Eilean Donan.
